Old growth forest, you'll only hear the river and an occasional train on the other side. Trail has tech climbs on the canyon walls and some rock gardens. Hardly known, beautiful, cool, shady. Best trail I found in Montana.
Directions to park: (242 Little York-Mount Pleasant Road, Milford, NJ 08848)<br /><br />*Rt 78 West<br /><br />*Take exit 15<br /><br />*Make left at end of ramp onto Rt 513 S<br /><br />*Continue on 513 S for about 4 miles<br /><br />*Make right at first traffic light which is still Rt 513 S (the light is directly after Pittstown Inn)<br /><br />*Continue on Rt 513 S for 4 miles<br /><br />*Then make right onto Rt 519 North (there is a white church on the corner of 513 and 519)<br /><br />*Stay on Rt 519 N for about 2 miles<br /><br />*Park entrance is on your right, just past a cemetery<br /><br />*Take the gravel road straight back to the track
